We are now seeking Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to be the front line of our growth strategy. SDRs are responsible for creating qualified opportunities through outbound LinkedIn prospecting, targeted campaigns, and inbound lead qualification.
This role is ideal for ambitious, commercially minded individuals who want to develop a career in tech sales. You’ll be working closely with Marketing and Account Executives to ensure a consistent flow of pipeline into the business.
Overview
As the first touchpoint for many prospects, SDRs play a critical role in shaping Deltabase’s growth. Your work ensures that our outbound and inbound strategies translate into real conversations with senior decision-makers.
By combining structured prospecting, personalized outreach, and tight collaboration with Marketing and Sales, you’ll build the predictable pipeline that powers our next stage of scale.
Responsibilities
* Execute outbound prospecting following the GNC framework (Grow connections, Nurture with messaging, Convert with actions).
* Qualify inbound leads from campaigns, events, and referrals to ensure fit against ICPs.
* Conduct discovery calls to identify prospect pain points and potential value drivers.
* Book qualified meetings for Head of Sales/.
Campaign Support
* Work with Head of Demand Gen to activate campaigns through LinkedIn, email and other channels.
* Personalize outreach using Deltabase insights and tailored messaging.
* Track campaign engagement and provide feedback to Marketing for optimization.
Process & Data Discipline
* Maintain CRM accuracy (HubSpot) by logging all activity, qualification notes, and next steps.
* Ensure leads are progressed or recycled into nurture streams in line with our qualification standards.
* Consistently meet daily/weekly activity metrics (connection requests, messages, calls, meetings booked).
* Partner with the Account Director to share insights.
* Provide feedback loops from the front line to Demand Gen and Product teams.
* Work closely with the Account Director to ensure smooth handoffs of qualified opportunities.
Key Skills & Requirements
* 1–2 year’s experience in an SDR/BDR role, ideally within B2B SaaS.
* Demonstrated ability to generate outbound pipeline via LinkedIn and other social selling tactics.
* Strong communication and writing skills — able to craft messages that get responses.
* Highly organized, disciplined with CRM and activity tracking.
* Resilient, motivated by targets, and eager to learn.
Preferred Qualities
* Growth mindset — views rejection as feedback, not failure.
* Curious and commercially aware — understands business models, culture, and transformation themes.
* Ambitious to progress into closing roles (Account Executive or Account Director).
* Entrepreneurial and proactive: uses tools, AI, and creativity to maximize outreach effectiveness.
* Experience engaging with or selling into in-house HR teams, understanding their priorities and challenges.
