Role Overview
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will:

Teach Computer Science from KS3 through to KS5 (A-Level) with creativity and clarity.
*
Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons that foster critical thinking, digital fluency, and coding confidence.
*
Contribute to curriculum design and innovation within the department.
*
Monitor student progress closely, offering personalised feedback and targeted support.
*
Engage in department planning, school events, and wider extracurricular opportunities to enrich the subject area.
About You
*
A degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
*
PGCE and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status).
*
Experience teaching Computer Science at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5.
*
A strong grasp of programming, algorithms, and computer systems.
*
Excellent classroom management and lesson planning skills.
*
A desire to take on additional responsibility — TLR available for suitable candidates.
Salary
The salary for this Computer Science Teacher role will be paid to scale in line with the national MPS/UPS. A TLR may be offered depending on qualifications and experience.
