The role
This is a full-time role at 39 hours per week, based at Norwich Airport, for a Finance Assistant.
The main scope of this position involves carrying out the company’s credit control function, assisting with purchase ledger, and maintaining vehicle maintenance records, together with providing administrative support to the wider Finance team.
This role requires an individual who can work quickly, accurately and efficiently and communicate with suppliers, customers and other airport staff via email and telephone.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
Credit control:Posting bank receipts from customers into accounting softwareMaintaining list of outstanding debtsSending statements to customersEnsuring customers pay on time and chasing overdue debts by email or telephoneReconciling customer accounts and resolving disputesReporting to management weekly on outstanding balancesAssisting with purchase ledger:Updating the purchase order database with order detailsPosting purchase invoices to the purchase ledgerMarking invoices as approved for paymentReconciling supplier statementsLiaising with suppliers over queriesRaising paymentsMaintaining the company’s vehicle maintenance records on Blue Crystal software.AODB System data entry & reportingProvide administrative and accounting support as necessary to the Finance Team e.g.Collecting & distributing postCollecting and entering data in financial spreadsheetsMonitoring, sorting, distributing & filing emailsScanningFilingAdhere to the company’s financial policies and procedures, and always maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive informationIf you are interested and would like to apply for the role, please take a look at the , then forward your CV to our HR Team by clicking the link here.
