We are currently recruiting for an Asset Maintenance Field Performance Manager where you will manage a team operating and maintainingassets within the Wastewater functionwithin our Hampshire, Isle of Operational sites.
The successor will be responsible and accountable for the safe and compliant operation and maintenance of all assets within a specific geographical area for the wastewater function.
You will be responsible for activities across 197 pumping station and 38 treatment works, ranging from Newport, Ryde, Cowes and managing a team of 9 technicians including 5 apprentices.
Your role is key in ensuring the efficiency, productivity, standards and quality to achieve compliance, serviceability and effectiveness in the overall deliverables of the role.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Building, leading and directing a competent and effective team to deliver compliance, levels of service and serviceability targets
Integrating asset processes into wastewater to ensure consistency to asset issues, drive data improvements and inform the business plan
Undertaking high level of monitoring of operational performance and taking appropriate steps to resolve relevant issues
Working in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders on works affecting site (s) and supporting business partners by keeping an overview on safety and asset performance within the operational area
Keeping an overview of ISO14001 requirements within the operational area to ensure the team comply with the requirements of Southern Water’s Environmental Management System
Coaching, mentoring and developing the team with a key focus on succession planning.
Working closely with external regulatory bodies and represent the company to the media as required
Wastewater process knowledge would be desirable, however you will be required to have a base underline knowledge of mechanical and electrical principles with a good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
