We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead the growth of our new business initiatives, with a strong focus on the dynamic retail sector. This is a remote position. You’ll play a pivotal role in identifying new opportunities, cultivating key client relationships, and strategically closing high-value deals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of market dynamics and the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies aligned with our goals. Key Responsibilities: Conduct market research to identify and develop opportunities in retail loss prevention. Build and manage strong relationships with clients, consultants, and integrators. Lead the full sales cycle—from lead generation to contract closure. Collaborate with technical and pre-sales teams to deliver tailored security solutions. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy. Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and development plans. Represent the company at industry events and client meetings. Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs. Host presentations in our Retail Experience Centre (REC) to showcase solutions. How You Will Do the Role: You’ll work autonomously while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver client-centric solutions. You’ll use your initiative to uncover opportunities, build trust with stakeholders, and drive deals forward. Your ability to communicate clearly and think strategically will be key to navigating complex sales cycles and delivering value. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; Master’s is a plus. 5 years in B2B sales or business development, ideally in electronic security. Strong technical knowledge of security systems and integration. Proven success in meeting sales targets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Strategic, self-motivated, and customer-focused. Preferred Skills: Established network in the retail sector. Experience with enterprise-level and multi-site clients.
