Role Overview: Mentor Engagement Coordinator (£20 per hour gross, self-employed or part time contract basis)
Location:Remote working with monthly in person meeting (1 hour) with Director
Key Responsibilities
Mentor Engagement:
·Proactively reach out to all active mentors (preferred via phone and then by email/online platforms)
·Encourage timely reporting of mentor mentee meetings and progress
·Gather data for reporting/case studies
·Follow up with mentors who have been inactive or disengaged
Safeguarding & Concerns Escalation:
·Act as a listening point for mentor queries or concerns
·Promptly escalate any complaints/safeguarding risks or flags to the Director
Data & Impact Tracking:
·Maintain a structured record of mentoring activity and frequency
·Track key outcomes such as confidence building, business milestones, etc.
·Collate quotes, observations, or snapshots that could inform future case studies
Skills & Attributes Sought
·Friendly, professional communicator, happy to use a telephone with a supportive approach
·Highly organised and confident using spreadsheets, forms, or digital tracking tools
·Experience with volunteer management, youth work, or mentoring preferred
·Ability to work independently, with light touch supervision
