Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children in our nursery setting. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
Responsibilities
* Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
* Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to inform future planning.
* Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their independence and self-esteem.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's development and addressing any concerns.
* Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
* Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
* Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
* A relevant childcare qualification ( Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent).
* Experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting is desirable.
* Strong understanding of child development principles and the EYFS framework.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being able to use your initiative.
* A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their growth.
* Enhanced DBS check required prior to employment.
* Part time hours to be discussed upon employment, must be minimum three full days.
