Service Care Solutions are working alongside North Northamptonshire who are looking for a dedicated and technically minded Billing and Recovery Officer to join their team on a temporary contract.
Role: Billing and Recovery Officer.
Salary: £19 to 21 (PAYE exc.) / £21 to £24 per hour (Umbrella/Ltd).
Hybrid 2-3 days home working (following an initial training period)
Contract: 6 months on going.
Manage the full lifecycle of Council Tax billing and recovery.
Process amendments, discounts, exemptions, and changes of circumstances in line with current legislation and local procedures.
Use the Academy system confidently to maintain accurate records and update accounts at all recovery stages.
Respond to customer enquiries professionally by phone, email, and written correspondence.
Interpret and apply relevant Council Tax legislation in day-to-day decision-making.
