Production Manager
Production Manager is a specialist advanced COMAH site operating at the forefront of energy transition, developing and manufacturing bespoke solutions for a wide range of sectors and high performance applications. The business combines deep technical expertise with industrial-scale production capability, supporting customers to improve performance while reducing environmental impact through lower carbon and next generation technologies.
What you can achieve as the Production Manager
* Build and lead a high-performing production team with strong ownership, accountability and engagement at all levels
* Drive measurable improvements in safety, efficiency and operational reliability through structured continuous improvement activity
* Strengthen production governance, ensuring robust control of permits, risk assessments, SOPs and operational standards
* Improve plant performance through better planning, KPI ownership and cross functional collaboration with engineering and maintenance
* Develop workforce capability and succession strength, creating a more resilient and technically capable production function
What we are looking for
* Proven experience leading production or operations teams within a process manufacturing or COMAH regulated environment
* Strong understanding of process safety, operational risk and safe systems of work within hazardous operations
* Track record of delivering continuous improvement using Lean, Kaizen or similar methodologies
* Experience managing supervisors or team leader level staff with responsibility for performance, development and culture
* Relevant health and safety qualification such as NEBOSH, with the ability to operate confidently in a highly regulated environment
What this is offering
* A salary of £55,000-£65,000 depending on experience and qualifications
