SEN Learning Support Assistant £95-105 per day Immediate Start Qualiteach Yorkshire are looking for an experienced SEN Learning Support Assistant for a specialist school in Leeds for children with moderate and complex learning needs. The setting is a large SEN school with multiple sites who cater for a mix of ages, and are looking for someone with a range of experience to join their team ASAP. The Role: * Working with children on a 1:1 and group basis who have a variety of needs, tailoring learning to suit them * Working within a team and helping to build a comfortable environment for all children and staff * Following care plans, EHCP’s, Pupil Passports and other relevant documents * Being comfortable with personal care is advantageous * Supporting a fantastic curriculum that teaches the children and young adults real life skills, as well as subject specific knowledge What you will need: * Experience of working with children who have complex needs * A willingness to ‘jump in’ and help where necessary * Being comfortable with taking pupils for outings, supporting their independence and being a positive influence over this * Be able to assist the children and young adults with their emotional literacy, helping them to co and self regulate What we offer: When you work with Qualiteach, you will have access to a range of expertise and advice as well as benefits.
