Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm

What You'll Be Doing
* Preparing and cooking healthy, balanced meals for around 65‑70 children and 20‑25 staff
* Delivering meals on time, following structured menus with care and creativity
* Adapting dishes to meet allergies, dietary needs, and cultural preferences
* Working closely with a kitchen assistant to keep daily operations running smoothly
* Taking full responsibility for a clean, safe, and well‑organised kitchen and dining space
* Keeping all equipment, utensils, and storage areas spotless and in order
* Monitoring kitchen supplies, reducing waste, and ensuring stock is always maintained
* Upholding high food hygiene, health, and safety standards at all times
* Maintaining accurate records for cleaning, food safety, and temperature checks
* Communicating clearly with team members and management to support a positive environment
What We're Looking For
* Experience cooking for large groups in a Nursery or School kitchen
* Confidence managing a kitchen independently and leading daily operations
* Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety practices
* Excellent organisation and attention to detail
* Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team
* Good level of spoken and written English
