About the role In this Product Manager role, you’ll benefit from our heavy investment in R&D as you build and roll-out new products for the rapidly-changing fintech landscape. In order to advance the way the world pay, banks and invests, you’ll manage life-cycle planning activities for the delivery of new products and ensure changes in market and business priorities are reflected. The Merchant Settlements & FX (Foreign Exchange) Product team is responsible for all aspects of the Worldpay’s core financial relationship with its merchants, and we are on a mission to make that experience simpler and more flexible. The Merchant Funding Product team is responsible for delivering a resilient, ambitious set of funding propositions which meet a wide range of merchant needs and drive Worldpay's growth. Supporting our merchant cash flow experience is a core component of many of Worldpay's most commercially successful products, delivering for a wide range of global super brands. We’re revolutionising our billing, funding and reporting engine to support new propositions that will help new and existing clients to serve their customers. The Funding product team is working side by side with colleagues across Worldpay to deliver the technology and systems that will tie it all together and we need your help to make it happen What you’ll own As a Merchant Funding Product Manager, you will: Take ownership of the end-to-end funding experience across Worldpay’s acquiring, alternative payments, cross-border payments and payout products Take the lead on transforming our funding and reporting engine to deliver against our target state architecture Lead engagement with Treasury, articulating our vision and how it is supported with appropriate cash management strategies and capabilities Collaborate with customers, commercial and product teams to generate insight, explore opportunities and challenges and input to funding vision Collaborate with internal functions (Pricing, Treasury, Legal, Compliance, etc) to explore opportunities, elicit requirements and develop end-to-end solutions Specify and design products and systems, and work directly with architectural and engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle Collaborate with commercial and GTM teams to understand business cases, identify targetable customers and develop pipeline Specify product success metrics, and manage throughout the product lifecycle Where you’ll own it You’ll own it in either of our modern hubs in London or Manchester. With inspiring, stylish workspaces we want people to feel excited to come and do their best work What you bring Key attributes the ideal candidate will possess Product experience from a bank, consultancy, Merchant Services, cross-border payment institution or other relevant organisation Direct experience working with acquiring or payouts products Experience working in, or closely with Treasury functions Prior experience matrix managing cross-functional teams Experience working on iterative development as well as larger programmes Commercial mindset and ability to influence and drive collaboration on projects & initiatives A track record driving successful customer-focussed propositions and products changes Natural curiosity and ability to understand multi-faceted challenges at significant depth An eye for detail and aptitude for spotting - and resolving - issues Experience delivering successful outcomes in a large, matrix environment Added bonus if you have: Experience working in a SAFe Agile environment What we offer you: A career at Worldpay is more than just a job.
