Offer description

Due to increased Theatre Sessions, we are currently seeking practitioners to join our theatre team, to provide care to patients in a wide range of specialities, including General, Orthopaedic, Trauma, ENT, Ophthalmic, Gynaecology & Obstetrics across all aspects of theatre care.

We are looking for a Team player who has excellent communication skills and shows a commitment to provide an effective standard of care. You should be compassionate and comfortable working in a multidisciplinary team environment.

You should be able to provide evidence of professional development and be committed to ongoing Education/Training. An active and updated PDP are desirable. IT skills would be advantageous. The flexibility to work as the situation and service requires would be an essential aspect of this post. A shift pattern is in place to cover services 24 / 7.

Thorough and up-to-date knowledge of preoperative theory and best practice at the level of a newly qualified practitioner would be desirable.

Preference will be given to those applying to undertake the role who have previous relevant experience in the above-mentioned specialties. Effective experience from student placements would be considered.
