HGV Class 1 Driver Ongoing Work Immediate Starts

HireGiant is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver to join our well-established haulage client based in Smethwick.
You will be delivering goods nationwide using acurtain side trailer, making between 1-4 collections/deliveries per shift, either doing local deliveries or more long distance work. There is a potential for ongoing work for reliable drivers who meet performance and compliance standards.
Your responsibility as a Class 1 Driver:
* Nationwide or Local deliveries and collections
* Driving artic/wagon and trailer units
* Securing loads using straps in line with HSE & driver regulations
* Ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately
* Representing the company in a professional manner at all times
Requirements for a Class 1 Driver:
* Cat C+E entitlement on your licence
* Valid Digital Tacho Card & CPC Card
* Safety boots & Hi-Vis vest
* Minimum 6 months experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles
* NO points or offences (especially if you are a Limited driver)
Hours & Pay:
* Monday to Friday (optimal weekend or night work available)
* Start times between 06:00 and 08:00 (flexibility available with prior agreement)
* Shifts typically 1012 hours
* £15.40 per hour PAYE| £18-£19 per hour LTD
