Department of Paediatrics, Oxford Vaccine Group, Churchill Hospital, Oxford About the role We have an exciting opportunity to join the Oxford Vaccine Group as a Clinical Research Practitioner. The Clinical Research Practitioner role is focused on supporting the delivery and execution of clinical trials in vaccine preventable diseases. The post holder will provide administrative support, phlebotomy, sample collection and data entry for individuals participating in clinical trials at OVG under the direction of a Clinical Research Fellow or Research Nurse. With over 25 years of experience in vaccine research, the Oxford Vaccine Group undertakes vaccine research at all stages of the process from pre-clinical development to late phase policy influencing trials, with the sole aim of ensuring protection of as many individuals as possible from vaccine preventable diseases. This position is offered full-time (36.5 hours per week). Willingness and ability to be flexible in the hours worked as study visits can take place 7 days a week and outside of normal office hours, depending on study needs. This time can be renumerated with an additional variable hour contract. This role is offered on a fixed-term contract initially for 12 months with the possibility to extend provided further external funding is available.
