Purpose of the role
Manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet Barclays' Third Party Service Provider Policy and Standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.
Accountabilities
1. Manage and execute supplier control processes, oversee supplier performance, and monitor KPIs to ensure expectations are met.
2. Collaborate with stakeholder groups to produce deliverables that meet procurement needs, policies, standards, mitigate risks, and align supplier relationships with the bank’s strategy.
3. Identify suitable suppliers through market research, capabilities analysis, and contract negotiation.
4. Stay informed on industry trends and developments related to supplier management by attending conferences and training.
5. Monitor suppliers’ control operations to meet standards, contractual obligations, quality, risk mitigation, and commercial objectives.
6. Collaborate with regulatory teams to support global regulatory requests, examinations, and ongoing activities.
