About The Role
We are a national supported housing provider, geographically dispersed across England, seeking a Compliance Officer who is highly organized with an exceptional eye for detail, committed to continuous improvement and embodying the ethos of #OneTeam.
The Building Compliance Officer will work in an environment that provides comprehensive, good quality housing services, support, and resettlement for people who have recently experienced homelessness and are in need of support and accommodation.
This role will be within the Health and Safety Compliance team, managing contractual arrangements related to service delivery and maintaining technical documentation associated with landlord and corporate health and safety management.
What You Will Be Doing
1. Ensure effective and accurate management, input, and reporting of data and documentation within Asset Management systems.
2. Support the Senior Compliance Officer in developing administrative procedures and system improvements.
3. Liaise with external agencies, contractors, consultants, and suppliers to gather data and documents, handle inquiries, and provide information as needed.
4. Administer service programs and coordinate with subcontractors to ensure all certifications and works are completed according to service level agreements.
Proven knowledge and experience with building compliance in the housing sector is essential.
This role is a hybrid position, working from home with a base at our Bolton Office. Travel will be required for visits and meetings.
About The Candidate
You will be a confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills, capable of engaging successfully with a variety of stakeholders. Additionally, you should be:
* Proactive and self-motivated with a can-do attitude.
* Holder of a Health and Safety compliance qualification - EAL Level 2 in Asset and Building Compliance Awareness (ABMC2).
* Possessing a general administration qualification or relevant experience in building compliance administration and data processing.
* Highly organized, able to multitask, prioritize, meet deadlines, and with an excellent eye for detail.
