Your new roleAs an Interim Quality Assurance Officer, you will play a key role in ensuring services consistently meet internal quality standards, regulatory expectations, and sector best practice. Working across multiple service areas, you will undertake audits, service reviews and thematic checks, supporting operational teams to improve oues andpliance.
Key responsibilities will include:
1. Conducting regular quality audits and service reviews across support services
2. Monitoringpliance against safeguarding, health & safety, data protection and other key policies
3. Coordinating, collating and analysing performance data, KPIs and oues
4. Supporting services to respond to external audits, inspections and contractpliance checks
5. Producing clear, evidence‑based reports with practical rmendations
6. Working closely with frontline teams and managers to implement improvement plans
7. Promoting a culture of learning, transparency and continuous improvement
This role is based in Stoke-on-Trent, with hybrid working and regular service visits required.What you'll need to succeedTo be successful in this interim role, you will be able to demonstrate:
8. Proven experience in a quality assurance,pliance or audit role within housing, homelessness, domestic abuse, social care or allied support services
9. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, safeguarding, risk management and incident reporting
10. Experience of undertaking service audits and quality reviews
11. Excellent written and verbalmunication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively
12. Strong analytical skills with confidence working with service data, KPIs and reports
13. Advanced IT skills, including Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis) and wider Microsoft Office applications
14. Ability to manage your own workload autonomously across multiple services
15. A trauma‑informed, person‑centred and inclusive approach to service improvement
16. A valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
