New & Used Car Sales Manager Bristol Our client, a highly respected and well-established franchise car dealership group, is undergoing an internal restructure, creating an exciting opportunity for an experienced New & Used Car Sales Managers to join their Bristol dealership. What This Role Offers The opportunity to lead and grow a motivated sales team A respected franchise brand with strong customer loyalty Autonomy to implement new ideas, processes, and sales strategies A stable group structure with progression opportunities Competitive salary bonus company benefits What Youll Be Responsible For Leading, inspiring, and managing the day-to-day activities of the sales team Overseeing either new and used car operations to ensure profitability and market share growth Coaching, developing, and performance-managing the team Maintaining exceptional customer experience standards throughout the sales journey Monitoring stock levels, pricing strategies, and marketing activity Reporting on KPIs, forecasting, and driving continuous improvement Ensuring FCA and brand compliance at all times What You Need to Be a Successful Car Sales Manager To thrive in this role, the dealership is specifically seeking candidates with: A minimum of 2 years experience as a Car Sales Manager (Experience within a franchised main dealer is highly preferred.) Proven success managing new and used car operations You should be confident overseeing volume, margins, stock, and team performance. Strong leadership skills You know how to motivate, support, and get the best out of a diverse sales team. A commercially driven mindset You understand targets, KPIs, and the importance of delivering profit while maintaining customer satisfaction. Excellent communication & customer service skills Professional, approachable, and confident in front of customers, colleagues, and manufacturer partners. Ability to implement structure and process Youll be taking the reins and shaping the departmentso organisation, planning, and strategy are key.
