As an Account Manager with SST, you'll be part of an elite team shaping the future of advanced sensing and hazard detection technologies across a diverse range of industries. As Account manager / Snr sales rep you will join Honeywell's Sensing and Safety Technologies division as part of the fixed gas detection team in the UK&I. You will play a big part in growing the fixed gas detection business by engaging with end users, integrators, engineering companies and distributor partners to drive growth. Engaging with multiple stakeholders within the business including service, project engineering, customer and technical support to provide customers with the required solution for their application. The role will report to the sales manager North Europe - Fixed Gas and would include developing and executing proactive sales strategies, account plans, opportunities management and reporting using available tools such as Salesforce. Key Responsibilities Drive demand and deliver Revenue AOP for the Fixed Gas Detection business Engage with end-user customers, with a front-line seller/product specialist, or with a distributor representative to create and close opportunities Attend sales calls and recommend products, provide technical sales support, and identify help needed in closing large opportunities Work directly in the field one on one with Product Specialists/ Service team to increase product and regulation knowledge and assist in closing opportunities at end-user customers. Accomplished in sales visits by product recommendations, demos, and training Review and continuously grow SFDC pipeline, monitor trends, and work with zone managers to progress / close opportunities Provide product and services demand feedback to supply chain by means of a detailed forecast. Make manual adjustments when necessary. Notify demand planners of large impact buys or other unexpected surges to demand. Engage in 2-way communication with offering managers and engineering to pass on industry intel, requested NPIs, product feedback, and problem solve issues within the LOB Regular training on NPIs, existing products, regulations, and applications in fixed gas detection YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree Exposure to Industrial instrumentation / safety products markets Experience of Proactive / Solution selling skills Strong verbal and written communications skills WE VALUE Demonstrated ability to develop and foster strong customer relationships In-depth knowledge of Honeywell and competitor platforms, products and technologies Experience in reviewing technical documents and preparation of proposals Experience of working with CRM platforms (such as Salesforce) to drive growth Familiarity with industry regulatory requirements and future mandates such as ATEX, SIL etc Ability to achieve results through influence in a matrixed-team environment Ability to communicate effectively across language and cultural barriers Ability to travel up to 50% both domestically and internationally About Us The world is changing.
