Minimum 1+ years Behavior Specialist experience required.
An opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or Behavior Paraprofessional to provide critical support within a K-12 school setting in Caldwell, ID. This full-time, contract position is designed for the upcoming school year and requires an immediate start to assist students on a one-to-one caseload basis.
Key responsibilities include:
* Implementing behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
* Monitoring and documenting student progress with detailed and accurate data collection.
* Employing positive behavior support techniques tailored to individual student needs.
* Collaborating closely with teachers, therapists, and family members to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions.
* Assisting in maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
Ideal candidates will have:
* Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) or relevant experience as a Behavior Paraprofessional.
* Strong understanding of behavior modification principles and applied behavior analysis (ABA).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students and staff.
* Ability to manage 1:1 caseloads and adapt to the dynamic school environment.
