Job Title: Kitchen Assistant
Job Summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Kitchen Assistant to join our growing bakery team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in ensuring smooth production.The Production Assistant will support the day-to-day running of the kitchen, help with preparing ingredients, packaging, and ensuring products meet our high-quality standards before reaching our customers.
Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation, baking, and production of cookies, brownies, and cakes for online and in-store customers

Support the kitchen team by measuring, mixing, and organising ingredients
*
Ensure all finished products are packed, labelled, and presented to brand standards
*
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment in line with food safety and hygiene regulations
*
Assist in stock rotation and inventory management to ensure freshness of ingredients
*
Work closely with chefs and bakers to meet daily production targets and deadlines
*
Contribute ideas for improving efficiency and production processes
Requirements
*
Previous experience in a kitchen, bakery, or food production environment is preferred (but not essential – full training provided)
*
Strong understanding of food hygiene and safety practices
*
Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment with excellent attention to detail
*
Strong teamwork and communication skills
*
Reliability, flexibility, and a proactive "can-do" attitude
*
A genuine passion for baked goods and creating great customer experiences
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From £12.50 - £13 per hour
Expected Hours: 35 per week
