Standard Working Day: 7.4 hours per day plus Two extended shifts of 9.25 hours within a 6-weekly rotation & one late shift covering 11:00 to 18:54 Plus Standby till 23:59hrs
Rota & Additional Requirements: The role will include Weekend standby within the 6-weekly Rota

Looking for a driving role where every journey makes a difference? As an LGV Day Driver with Anglian Water’s Logistics team, you’ll do more than just transport goods — you’ll play a vital part in keeping water flowing and communities supported.
Working throughout the day, you’ll deliver essential parts and equipment to operational teams across our Water and Water Recycling networks. It’s a role where your reliability, safety, and precision help keep critical services running smoothly while supporting colleagues right across the region.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an LGV Day Driver, you’ll play a key role in ensuring Anglian Water’s operations run seamlessly. Your key responsibilities will include:
1. Delivering essential materials to sites and operational teams across the region, ensuring items are safely and accurately transported, recorded, and ready for use.
2. Supporting planned maintenance and scheduled works by getting the right equipment to the right place at the right time.
3. Staying fully compliant and safety-focused, following all UK transport laws, tachograph regulations, and Anglian Water’s health, safety, and hygiene standards.
4. Assisting the warehouse team when not on the road – including packing deliveries, checking stock, and helping maintain smooth logistics operations.
This is a hands-on role with real purpose – keeping the water flowing and communities supported, day after day.

What does it take to be a Logistics LGV Driver?
16. Class 2 Driving License (C)
17. MHE experience (reach truck / counterbalance / Moffett)
18. Fully completed driver DQC CARD CPC
19. Additional driver vocational training (i.e. ADR, C+E)
20. HIAB training (Lifting equipment) such as Slinger/Signaller or Lift Supervisor
21. Flexibility regarding working shifts to meet the demands of working in essential industry sector
22. Strong player with excellent communication skills
23. Ability to work in all Anglian water operational sites
24. Ability to work as collaboratively part of a team as well as show initiative when working alone
25. Basic IT skills including understanding of basic Microsoft packages (i.e., outlook)
26. Ability to embrace change and positively deal with often conflicting priorities
