Job Description
MCS Group is supporting a large public sector organisation based in Belfast in recruiting a HR Business Coordinator. The role involves:
1. Supporting the Human Resource Manager(s) in managing human resources and employee relations issues, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements.
2. Acting as investigating officer for grievances and disciplinary cases, conducting investigations in line with HR policies.
3. Managing HR records related to recruitment, discipline, sickness absence, overtime, leave, etc., and developing reports for senior management.
4. Monitoring and auditing departmental HR performance data, including attendance and agency work.
5. Participating in absence management, disciplinary, and grievance cases.
6. Assisting in managing sickness absence and implementing related policies.
Candidate Profile
Essential qualifications and experience include:
* Third-level qualification in Business Studies, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
* Experience within a unionised organisation.
* Advice and guidance experience in key HR subjects.
