Purpose of the role
As Aveni enters its high-growth phase, we're seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to play a key role in helping our clients tackle complex challenges. Joining us at this exciting time, you'll drive revenue through end-to-end sales, offering prospective clients our Aveni Detect platform.
Key responsibilities
* Closing new business opportunities in line with monthly revenue targets
* Discover new Enterprise opportunities from targeted leads as well as develop new leads from individual proactive prospecting efforts.
* Responding swiftly to marketing leads and arranging timely introductory meetings and product demonstrations
* Articulate the company's service, benefits, and processes to potential clients through all outlets (phone, online, and in-person)
* Nurturing clients through the sales process
* Producing tailored and impactful sales proposals and contracts, to meet client needs
* Updating all activities on HubSpot
* Using HubSpot to communicate accurate monthly and quarterly forecasting of sales opportunities
* Work closely with other department help with product design, customer onboarding, using feedback from the market to drive improvements and provide insights
Requirements
* Extensive experience gained within the Financial Services sector, with a broad network
* Experience managing RFP/RFI processes within enterprise sales deals
* Ability to demonstrate a track record of achievement of sales targets
* Ability to pro-actively prospect, unearthing new sales opportunities and turning them into long-term partnerships
* Ability to communicate and convey the value proposition of a complex software platform via phone and presentations
* Team player who works well collaboratively with colleagues, management, and staff across all levels of an organisation, with the ability to thrive in an ever-changing, upbeat environment
* Ability to work autonomously while maintaining focus and work ethic
* Motivation to grow and win, individually and as part of a team
* Energetic team player with excellent verbal and written communications skills
* Strong organisation skills
