Job Description
A high-achieving Outstanding Boys' school in Brent is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Physics Teacher to join their Science department from September on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will have a passion for Physics and the ability to inspire and challenge boys across Key Stages 3 and 4, contributing to the school's academic excellence.
Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging Physics lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4.
* Develop students' understanding of physics concepts and their applications.
* Prepare students for GCSE Physics examinations (Separate Sciences or Combined Science).
* Assess and monitor student progress, providing effective feedback.
* Contribute to curriculum development and resources within the Science department.
* Encourage student interest in Physics through practical demonstrations and activities.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a Physics specialism.
* Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for Physics.
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills, with the ability to engage boys.
* Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.
