We are recruiting Procurement Category Manager for Technology & IT categories. The team currently comprises of a Director of Strategic Sourcing, Head of Procurement, three Procurement Category Managers, a data analyst and a Head of Commercial Contracts, three Contracts Lawyers and a dedicated administrative coordinator. All permanent roles.
Our standard working hours are 9.30am-5.30pm, however, we are happy to consider flexible working requests.
Candidate Overview
We are looking for candidates who ideally hold the following skills and experience:
* Develop and execute category strategies for Technology/IT and InfoSec
* Lead high-value, high-risk procurement activities (tenders, negotiations, renewals)
* Collaborate with the IT Leadership Team to align procurement with business goals
* Embed ESG and supplier diversity into sourcing decisions
* Provide market intelligence and insights
* Identify cost-saving and efficiency opportunities through spend analysis
* Support contract and supplier relationship management (SRM)
* Contribute to procurement best practices and capability building
* 5+ years’ experience in procurement (ideally MCIPS qualified)
* 2–3 years’ experience in Technology/IT and InfoSec procurement
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Proven ability to build relationships across diverse teams
* Experience with SRM frameworks and contract management
* Excellent communication, influencing, and project management skills
