Senior Resident Engineer
Overview
We are seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for a national road infrastructure project commencing in Summer 2026, with an expected duration of approximately 14 months. The role requires strong site leadership experience within roads or transport infrastructure.
Role Responsibilities
* Site supervision and inspection of construction activities.
* Contract administration and reporting.
* Liaison with stakeholders, clients, and contractors.
* Monitoring project progress and maintaining records.
* Working closely with site team members, including engineering and inspection staff.
Requirements
* Degree in Civil Engineering.
* Chartered Engineer status desirable.
* Experience with public works contracts (valuations, claims).
* Strong experience in road construction supervision (pavements, drainage, structures, etc.).
* Strong communication and reporting skills.
* Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
* Full driving licence and relevant site certifications required.
Working Conditions
* Standard 40-hour working week with occasional flexibility required.
* Site-based role with transport provided where applicable.
