This role involves applying software engineering techniques, automation, and best practices in incident response to ensure the reliability, availability, and scalability of systems, platforms, and technologies.
To succeed as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer, you should have experience with:
* Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM), Oracle Internet Directory (OID), Oracle Database Performance Tuning – SME
* Deep understanding of LDAP protocols and directory services
* SQL Optimization
* Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash) and knowledge of configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
* Monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)
Additional valued skills include:
* Cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
* Containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
* Incident diagnosis and resolution
* Strong interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration

* Ensure availability, performance, and scalability through monitoring, maintenance, and capacity planning
* Respond to system outages, analyze issues, and implement preventive measures
* Develop automation tools and scripts to enhance operational efficiency and system resilience
* Optimize system performance and resource usage
* Collaborate with development teams to embed reliability, scalability, and performance best practices into software development
* Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to technological communities
