Overview
Roc Search are currently seeking a Data & Administration Manager who has experience working within Building Control/Planning for Local Authorities, or similar. You will be working on behalf of Roc at our Local Authority client in Sussex.
Role details
* Immediate start – latest 15 Sept.
* Duration: 4–6 months
* 37 hours per week, hourly rate to be confirmed (Inside IR35)
* Hybrid ideally
Responsibilities
The postholder will ensure accurate record-keeping, data transfer coordination, and efficient administrative operations. To assist in handling / administering day-to-day Building Control enquiries.
Skills and experience
* Proven experience in administrative and data management roles within a local authority or regulatory environment.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data management systems.
* Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desirable Skills
* Experience supporting Building Control or Planning services.
* Familiarity with the Building Safety Act 2022 and related administrative processes.
* Knowledge of data migration and integration practices.
* Understanding of statutory compliance and enforcement documentation.
