What We Do: The Continuous Improvement Support Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the Continuous Improvement Team, focusing on administrative and office management tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the team.

Main Responsibilities
About the Role:
* Ensure the smooth running of Continuous Improvement projects, by maintaining the projects planner and ensuring team members are keeping their sections up to date.
* Become familiar with, and ensure all team members adhere to, the GBS continuous improvement methodology.
* Support the Continuous Improvement Manager by scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, taking notes and keeping track of actions.
* Keep highly organised files for projects and reports in a structured SharePoint site.
* Support the implementation of best practices across planning, reporting, and Continuous Improvement processes.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of project tools and templates to enhance project delivery.
Requirements
About you:
* Interest and some knowledge of Continuous Improvement and governance tools, systems, and processes.
* Strong IT skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and a range of software applications.
* Ability to use and create reports, using tools such as Excel or PowerBI.
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and manage time efficiently.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
* A positive, can-do attitude and the ability to deliver solutions when faced with challenging issues and situations.
* Problem-solving skills, including the resolution of complex issues.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating personal resilience and adaptability.
Desirable:
* Experience of working in a project management, Business Improvement or Higher Education environment.
* Knowledge of project management or Continuous Improvement methodologies and best practices.
* Experience with risk management processes and benefits realisation planning.
