The firm is hiring a Debt Recovery Paralegal to manage a fast-paced and varied caseload. The role involves end-to-end handling of debt recovery matters, from initial instruction through to enforcement and resolution, ensuring commercially effective outcomes for clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Manage a full caseload of debt recovery files independently
* Handle matters from instruction to final resolution
* Prepare and issue legal documents, including winding-up petitions
* Ensure timely and cost-effective recovery strategies
* Liaise with clients and internal teams to provide updates and legal support
* Maintain compliance with legal procedures and regulatory frameworks
* Contribute to a solutions-driven, client-focused service delivery
Eligibility:
* Proven experience as a Debt Recovery Paralegal
* Strong understanding of debt recovery procedures and insolvency processes
* Experience handling high-value and complex matters
* Ability to prepare and manage winding-up petitions
* Excellent organisational and case management skills
* Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability
