Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer Northampton | £40,000 | Mon-Fri (8am-4pm) Are you a multi-skilled maintenance engineer who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in keeping heavy industrial machinery running safely and efficiently? We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established business based in Northampton. You'll be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance across a range of industrial processing equipment, playing a key role in maximising uptime and supporting production demands. What you'll be doing: Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive repairs across site machinery Perform mechanical fitting, assembly, repairs, and component replacement Complete electrical fault-finding, diagnostics, and root cause analysis (3-phase systems) Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot heavy-duty processing equipment Work closely with production teams to minimise downtime and disruption Carry out machinery modifications, adjustments, and improvements Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised working environment Uphold and promote high Health & Safety standards at all times What we're looking for: Proven experience in a fast-paced manufacturing or industrial environment Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills 3-phase electrical experience (essential) 18th Edition qualification (preferred) Proactive, positive attitude with a focus on reliability and continuous improvement Flexible approach to duties based on business needs What's in it for you: £40,000 salary (depending on experience) Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm On-site parking Company events Stable, permanent role within a busy and growing operation Please apply with an up-to-date CV.
