STRAT7 Researchbods is an insights practice that partners with brands to deliver customer data and intelligence that helps answer our clients' key research and business questions.


Our Project Team are an integral department within the company, making sure projects are delivered on time, keeping internal and external clients updated on project progress, co-ordinating internal teams as well as ensuring our expectations of excellent customer service are always upheld.



What does the Junior Project Manager do?


In this role you will be given the training and support to supervise and manage day to day research projects running through the Operations Team. The majority of the projects are online surveys, but increasingly these include other data collection methods including geo-location and behavioural understanding.

You will be responsible for managing a number of projects at any one time and a typical day will see you; updating clients and internal teams on project progress, managing fieldwork, liaising with our internal Data and Scripting teams to make sure that every task for the project is delivered on time, dealing with queries and questions, testing surveys, managing sample and invites for projects that are live and managing the close down process for any completed projects.



What are we looking for? Is this the role for you?


You will ideally have a background in research, insight or similar, this could be gained within your studies or through employment, but don't worry if you don't. We are also keen to hear from you if you have previous work experience in an environment where attention to detail and working within a team are essential elements of the role, or you may have just finished education / graduated and are looking for your first role. A basic understanding of either survey design or working with data would also be desirable.


As well as the above we are looking for someone who is keen to build a career in project management and can evidence an interest and enthusiasm for market research.


You will be highly organised, motivated and have great communication skills which will enable you to build and nurture good working relationships both internally and externally.

You will also excel at planning and coordinating multiple workloads and thrive in a busy environment.

Your focus and responsibilities



You will be trained to be able to fulfil the following key duties;

* To be responsible for taking receipt of surveys provided by the client and checking these meet the criteria of the initial brief
* How to programme and deliver data processing outputs for with data collected for research purposes
* To liaise and manage the client throughout the whole study process, keeping them updated and to meet their expectations around delivery
* To brief in the programmers and data processors and manage their delivery of all elements of the project
* To check quotas and manage distribution of sample to ensure fieldwork is completed accurately and on time
* Ensure that individual hours are logged daily and that targets are met with regards to personal hours worked on project and the hours worked by the programmers and data team
* Acting as a first port of call for any problems or escalations within the Project Team
* Adhoc duties as appropriate to the role




Your skills and attributes:



* You have the ability to focus on achieving results, keeping calm under pressure and continually looking to make improvements
* You can manage multiple priorities and are clear and organised in your approach to your work
* You can plan and co-ordinate multiple workloads and resources to maximise productivity and efficiency, monitoring progress and evaluating the results
* You are commercially aware and understand the importance of your role within the business
* You use excellent communication skills, written and verbal, to help build strong working relationships both internally and externally and ensure clear communication between key stakeholders
* You can work under your own initiative, seeking guidance when necessary
* You display awareness of GDPR rules and guidelines and are mindful of these in everyday activities and ensuring compliance within the team and operate in a way that is both secure and GDPR compliant with any and all project, client and customer data


We are offering:


* Salary up to £25,000 p/y
* Hybrid working - two days at our central Leeds office
* 25 days holiday plus UK bank holidays (our office also shuts between Christmas and New Year)
* One additional holiday day per year after 2 years' service, up to a maximum of 5 extra days.
