LOCATION: LONDON with some travel required within the region to visit accounts, agencies, events etc. + travel when necessary to other locations.

Job scope and main responsibilities

As Trade Marketing Intern, you will support the Trade Marketing manager Synsam to execute the customer strategy and implement marketing activities across EssilorLuxottica brands.


Areas of responsibilities and related activities

The successful candidate will have the following accountability in the role:

* Coordination of the customers marketing calendar, managing campaign visuals, brief & tracking campaign performance.
* Coordination of TradeUp platform for the forecasting and allocation of Trade materials.
* Leading brand visual update for Synsam, which includes selection, adaptation, and approval of asset usage; for the dedicated campaigns, and for off-line and on-line visibility (proactively coordinating the removal and replacement of expired or unauthorized materials online).
* Coordination and follow up of campaign approvals with brand and commercial teams.
* Proof reading and check brand and marketing communications adhering to the brand guidelines.
* Periodic review of retailers, analysis of activities of new brands or campaign launches including competitors (instore, digital, and social).
* Producing marketing activation reports, include activity evaluation and KPI analysis.
* Assisting with ad-hoc administration duties for the marketing department as and when required.

Technical skills - portrait of a perfect candidate

* Be educated to degree-level;
* Be proficient in Microsoft packages;
* Have a demonstrable interest in Trade Marketing.
* Strong problem solving skills;
* Have demonstrable organizational skills;
* Have strong analytical skills;
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;
* Have an imaginative and entrepreneurial approach;
* Have excellent team working skills;
* Have experience in marketing; and / or have a demonstrable interest in marketing.

* Customer Focus: Knowing and collaborating with customers, collecting and acting on customer feedback and their needs, proposing improvements
* Drive for Results: Committing and completing objectives, delivering work results, aligning, resourcing, changing when needed, applying best practices and giving recognition for results
* Interpersonal Savvy: Building networks and relationships, communicating, influencing, seeking win-win solutions to problems
* Personal Learning: Willingness to develop, being able to acquire and apply new skills, quickly adapting to new situations and requirements


Languages

Fluent written and spoken English, Nordic languages is preferable
