As an Associate or Vice President in the Consumer Staples Equity Research Team, you will contribute to writing research reports, including thematic deep-dives, strategic reviews, results analysis, and industry/company presentations. You will communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, internal clients (Sales, Sector Specialists & Trading), and other stakeholders. You will create, maintain, and update company models and databases, gaining exposure to a wide range of industry topics and building relationships across the business.
Job responsibilities
* Contribute to writing research reports, including thematic deep-dives, strategic reviews, results analysis, and industry/company presentations.
* Communicate with institutional investors, company representatives, internal clients (Sales, Sector Specialists & Trading), and other stakeholders.
* Create, maintain, and update company models and databases.
* Collaborate with Senior Analysts and team members to deliver impactful research.
* Stay abreast of sector and industry developments.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
* Experience in Research or Banking (Industry, ECM, M&A).
* Passion for markets, stocks, and investing.
* Strong analytical, accounting, and quantitative skills.
* Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and confidently with colleagues and external clients.
* Fluency in English, both oral and written.
* Ability to produce accurate and detailed materials.
* Strong time management skills.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

* Extensive experience within the Staples & Beverages sector.
* Data analysis and coding skills.

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity.
