We are seeking a dedicated and experienced KS2 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about helping children thrive academically and personally. You will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support, and help create a positive learning environment for pupils in Key Stage 2.
Location: Burnley
Pay: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour
Start: As soon as possible
Key Responsibilities
* Support the class teacher in planning and delivering high-quality lessons.
* Provide one-to-one and small group interventions to boost pupil progress.
* Assist with classroom management and maintain a safe, inclusive environment.
* Monitor and record pupil progress, feeding back to teachers and parents.
* Contribute to the wider school community and uphold school values.
Requirements
* Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant in KS2.
* Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and learning strategies.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
