Purpose of the post
To undertake cleaning of designated areas within school premises as part of a team, ensuring they are kept clean and hygienic.
Responsibility for functions
Equipment management.
Main duties
* Cleaning, washing, sweeping, and vacuuming.
* Emptying litter and recycling bins.
* Polishing and dusting furniture and fixtures.
* Using powered equipment when appropriate.
* Cleaning toilets and shower areas, replenishing supplies.
* Moving between areas as required.
* Ensuring health and safety compliance.
* Adhering to equal opportunities policies.
* Managing information according to data protection laws.
* Contributing to reducing the council's carbon footprint.
