Student Welfare Officer
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Student Welfare Officer to lead our pastoral provision and ensure every young person feels safe, supported and able to thrive.
Responsibilities
* Lead pastoral provision, fostering a positive ethos for all students.
* Support attendance, positive behaviours, home‑school communication, wellbeing and kindness.
* Provide guidance to students on navigating the educational journey, interests and ambitions.
* Collaborate with students, families, colleagues and external agencies using a holistic approach.
* Participate in professional development and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
* Knowledge of barriers facing young people and proven support strategies.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
* Willingness to engage in professional development and external opportunities.
