Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Manchester for an Industrial Door Engineer. The role involves the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of a range of industrial doors and access systems. The engineer will diagnose technical issues, carry out process improvements, ensure compliance with safety standards, and effectively communicate with clients and team members to fulfill work orders. The position requires a proactive attitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently on-site at customer locations.
Qualifications
* Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Engineering
* Proficiency in Analytical Skills and Process Improvement to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
* Strong Communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively
* Ability to work on-site and adapt to a hands‑on, dynamic work environment
* Experience with industrial doors, automated gates, or access systems is highly desirable
* Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards applicable to the industry
* Relevant certifications, qualifications, or a technical background in engineering or a similar field
