Key duties of the Assistant Garage Manager:
8. Assist the workshop controller in daily workshop operations
9. Ensure vehicles are quality checked and presented to the workshop staff at the appropriate times
10. Oversee that cars are completed, correctly parked, and taken off-site as required
11. Prepare job cards and organise workshop workflows efficiently
12. Support a team of approximately 15 technicians to ensure smooth productivity and workshop flow
Requirements:
13. Proven experience in workshop or workshop support roles, ideally within a dealership environment
14. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
15. Reliable and steady operator, with a focus on maintaining workshop standards
16. Ability to work well within a team and support workshop operations
17. No specific qualifications or certifications are mandatory, but experience with workshop processes is essential
