Reform UK is looking for a Video Editor to lead the production of high-impact video content across Scotland. You will transform speeches, media appearances, campaign activity and rapid-response messaging into sharp, engaging video that drives reach, shapes narrative, and converts attention into political momentum.
Key Responsibilities
* Edit daily short-form video content for X, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.
* Produce fast‑turnaround reactive clips responding to Scottish political developments and media moments.
* Create campaign adverts, promotional videos, and fundraising content.
* Add subtitles, motion graphics, sound design and branding to optimise content for platform performance.
* Work closely with the social media and campaign teams to ensure message discipline and maximum impact.
Requirements
* Proven video editing experience in political, campaign, media, or fast‑paced commercial environments.
* Strong proficiency in Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve or similar editing software.
* Basic motion graphics capability (After Effects or equivalent) preferred.
* Strong instinct for pacing, narrative framing and attention retention.
* Understanding of social platform algorithms and short‑form content optimisation.
* Comfortable operating in a high‑pressure, politically charged environment.
* A strong commitment to the values and mission of Reform UK.
This is a hands‑on role with direct impact on Reform UK Scotland’s growth, reach and electoral success.
