CNC Turner / Programmer
We are looking for an experienced and motivated CNC Turner / Programmer to join our expanding precision engineering division in Rotherham.
You will be responsible for programming, setting, and operating Haas / Hankook lathes and supporting both prototype and production machining for our engineered valve and pipeline product range. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a modern, well-equipped CNC facility using the latest Fusion 360 CAM software and Haas / Hankook multi‑axis equipment.
The Duties of a CNC Turner Programmer
* Programming, setting, and operating Haas CNC machines (DS‑30Y, ST‑40, VTL1400).
* Using Fanuc controls.
* Producing finished components to quality requirements.
* Working to tight limits in a high‑precision environment.
* Adhering to health and safety regulations, including workspace housekeeping.
Essential Experience & Skills
* Proven experience programming and setting CNC lathes (multi‑axis).
* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings and CAD models.
* Proficiency with Autodesk Fusion 360 CAM software.
* Strong knowledge of Haas/Fanuc G‑ and M‑code programming.
* Skilled in machining stainless steel, duplex, aluminium, and engineering plastics.
* Confidence in using precision measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, gauges, CMM).
* Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, safety‑first approach.
Hours
Day shift:
Mon – Thurs: 8am – 5pm
Fri: 8am – 1pm
