The role
Location : Hampshire / Swindon
Eligibility : Citizen / ILR/ Dependent/ Settled
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L2/L3 application support for AS400 (IBM i) systems.
- Develop, support, and maintain applications using RPG III, RPG IV, and ILE RPG.
- Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management in line with ITIL processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
- Work closely with business users and cross functional teams to ensure system stability.
- Support legacy systems with a focus on availability, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands on experience in AS400 / IBM iSeries
- Expertise in RPG III, RPG IV, and ILE RPG
- Proven experience in Application Support / AMS (L2/L3)
- Solid knowledge of ITIL based Incident, Problem, and Change Management
- Good communication and documentation skills
