We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Nurse Director to join the senior leadership team at the Western General Hospital, driving excellence in patient care, professional practice, and operational delivery. The Associate Nurse Director supports, both clinically and strategically, a plan for nursing practice and services across the site, and cancer services across Lothian, to support reform and sustainability. Our Associate Nurse Director will be acting as a visible role model and advocate for nursing excellence. As an experienced leader you will foster a culture of continuous learning and collaboration to drive patient centred care and prioritise staff wellbeing. We are looking for a dynamic and results driven individual with a proven track record to join our team.
Location: Western General Hospital, Lothian; Edinburgh area in Scotland.

Qualifications
* NMC Registration is required
* Education to Master’s level or equivalent

* The post requires PVG Scheme membership/record. If not currently a PVG member for the required regulatory group, an application to Disclosure Scotland is needed before starting
* Due to legislative changes from 1 April 2025, the post may require a different level of criminal records check. If assessed as a "regulated role", appointment will be subject to PVG membership. Details will be confirmed by the Hiring Manager or Recruitment Team
