Lorien are delighted to be supporting a long‑established and growing audio‑visual integration business as they look to hire a Senior AV Installation Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior, trusted role within a company working on a wide range of public‑sector, corporate, and large‑venue AV projects across Scotland and, occasionally, the wider UK.
2026 is set to be a major growth year for the organisation, with increased work across LED solutions, modern meeting room technologies (including Microsoft Teams Rooms), sports stadium AV, audio discussion systems, digital signage, and broader commercial AV installations.

What You'll Be Doing
Reporting into the Service Manager, your role will involve hands-on installation and commissioning across a broad range of AV technologies. Typical responsibilities include:
Installing cable and containment systems to high-quality standards
Mounting, connecting, and commissioning audio‑visual hardware
Working across commercial premises, education sites, public-sector buildings, and major venue installations
Updating job information using cloud‑based systems
Supporting installation teams with technical queries
Attending internal and client-facing project meetings when required
Demonstrating completed systems to end users
Travelling across Scotland, with occasional work in England (including major stadium projects)
What We're Looking For
Full UK Driving License
Confident reading schematics and installing AV systems unguided
Strong understanding of AV signal flow (analogue & digital)
Ability to install and commission modern video distribution and control systems
Experience building and laying out AV equipment racks
Location & Travel
Field-based role covering Scotland, suitable for a candidate in the Central Belt area or around Glasgow.
Regular overtime available, including optional work away from home on a rota basis (can be more or less frequent depending on preference, being as little as once every 6 weeks).
Salary, Benefits & Package
£33,000 - £39,000 (depending on experience)
