Job information Collections Agent from the Company Sopra Steria, located in Leeds, United Kingdom. This job opening requires a GCSE education and is in the Logistics field.


Job Responsibility:

Do you have a background as a Collections Agent with a passion for delivering the best service possible for your customers? We are adding to our team of highly skilled and dedicated Collections Agents to support the financial health of NHS organisations by supporting customers on their overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments, all whilst providing outstanding customer service.

With growth and improvement plans, there is opportunity for the right person to develop their talents and career, supported by the department's training and development. New starters will need to be on site Monday to Friday for approximately the first 6 weeks, then based from home Tuesday to Friday and join the team each Monday in our modern office environment in Leeds.

What you'll be doing:

* Build relationships with customers and support them to recover missed payments.
* Resolve general invoice queries over the phone and via email.
* Assess each debtor's circumstances, resulting in a fair and amicable outcome.
* Create repayment plans to help customers clear their outstanding debt.
* Collaborate with clients to resolve disputed invoice queries.
* Complete administrative tasks such as running reports on ledgers.

What you'll bring:

* Previous experience in FCA regulated collections or accounts receivable environment.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to handle difficult conversations tactfully.
* A passion and enthusiasm for delivering high-quality customer service.
* High attention to detail and accurate administration skills.
* Proficiency with MS Excel.
