About Our Client
Our is a well-established, medium-sized player in the industrial/manufacturing sector, specialising in metal machining and stamping. They are coming up with a new state of the art kraft and duplex manufacturing facility.
Job Description
Project Execution & Management
3. Lead complete project lifecycle from conceptualization, layout planning, machine selection, erection, commissioning, and handover.
4. Prepare detailed project reports, feasibility studies, and execution roadmaps.
5. Coordinate with design consultants, OEMs, and civil & utility teams for timely execution.
Technical Oversight
6. Select and finalize high-performance machinery for Kraft and Duplex paper production.
7. Provide technical leadership in selecting stock preparation, pulping, forming, drying, finishing, and wastewater treatment systems.
8. Guide engineering teams during installation and commissioning, ensuring adherence to process specifications and output targets.
Vendor & Technology Management
9. Strong network and past dealings with major Indian and international machinery supplier like Voith, ANDRITZ, Parason, Valmet, Metso, Allimand, etc.
10. Evaluate emerging technologies for efficiency, energy savings, and automation potential.
Team Development & Training
11. Build and mentor the operations and technical team from project state to long-term sustainability.
12. Train plant staff on new equipment, processes, and maintenance best practices.
Budget & Cost Control
13. Monitor CAPEX and OPEX spending to ensure budget compliance.
14. Recommend cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or performance.
The Successful Applicant
15. Degree in Paper Technology (CIPET, IIT Roorkee, or equivalent recognized institute).
16. 10+ years of experience in the Kraft & Duplex paper industry.
17. Must have led or been a core team member in 5-10+ successful paper plant installations across India.
18. Strong knowledge of pulp and paper processes - Kraft, OCC, recycled fiber, calendering, and drying systems.
19. Hands-on familiarity with cutting-edge machinery and automation solutions.
20. Experience handling greenfield and/or brownfield paper mill projects.
21. Strong coordination skills with OEMs, EPCs, and in-house teams.
