Join Martin Brower as a Customer Service Driver - Drive with Purpose, Deliver with Precision
Ready to hit the road with a company that powers some of the biggest names in the food industry? Martin Brower is looking for reliable, professional drivers to deliver excellence every day.
As a key part of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen products-up to 4 drops per shift-ensuring each delivery is completed efficiently and accurately, in line with Martin Brower UK's procedures.
Your day-to-day will include:
* Completing thorough pre-departure vehicle checks and reporting any defects to the Transport Office.
* Verifying all goods are correct and securely loaded before departure.
* Following a set delivery schedule, logging arrival/departure times on a journey sheet or PDA.
* Carrying out essential delivery procedures: product checking, placement, and temperature probing-including unmanned deliveries.
* Collect recycling, empty cages etc.
* Keeping communication clear: Report any issues like delays, breakdowns, or delivery concerns promptly to the Transport Office.
End-of-journey duties:
* Off load recycling, cages etc.
* Clean and refuel your vehicle.
* Park as instructed and complete a debrief with the Transport Office.

The ideal candidate will bring:
* Strong foundation in English & Maths (Level 2 or equivalent) - essential for accurate paperwork and communication on the go.
* Up-to-date Driver CPC - you're fully certified and road-ready.
* Solid computer literacy - from route planning to logging deliveries on digital devices, you're confident with tech.
* Hands-on knowledge of vehicles & refrigeration systems - you know your kit and how to keep it running smoothly.
* Clear understanding of EC Drivers' Hours & Working Time Directive - because compliance and safety are non-negotiable.
* Customer Service Oriented: Acts promptly to meet customer needs and ensures a positive service experience - This is more than just a driving job - it's a chance to join a high-performance logistics team where every delivery matters.
