Overview
As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and high-quality care to individuals in their own homes. Your primary focus will be to support clients in their daily activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. This position requires a dedicated individual with strong communication skills and the ability to follow care plans effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
* Support clients in daily living activities, including meal preparation and medication management.
* Implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each client's needs.
* Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes in health or behaviour.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
* Ensure a safe and clean environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.
* Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required.
Skills
* Proficient in English with excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.
* Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential.
* Ability to understand and implement care plans accurately.
* Basic IT skills for maintaining records and communicating within the team.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for transporting clients as needed.
